Ingredients
  

500g (4 cups) all-purpose flour

60g (1/4 cup) granulated sugar

10g (2 tsp) salt

20g (1 1/2 tbsp) fresh yeast or 7g (1 packet) dry yeast

300ml (1 1/4 cups) milk, lukewarm

60g (1/4 cup) unsalted butter, softened

250g (1 cup) unsalted butter, cold

1 egg, beaten

1 tbsp milk

Instructions
 

Activate yeast in warm milk.

    Mix flour, sugar, and salt; add yeast mixture.

      Knead dough until smooth.

        Let it rise until doubled.

          Roll out dough and add butter.

            Fold and roll again; chill.

              Cut into triangles and shape into crescents.

                Let rise again; brush with egg.

                  Bake until golden.
